We are excited to enter our second year of SKR Home and Healthcare Solutions in Region 8 of Florida, which services the following counties: Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Hendry, Lee, Sarasota, and Glades! We are also happy to announce our expansion into Region 9 of Florida, which services the additional counties: Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie.
We provide skilled nursing privately in the home. We are entering our 15th year in the industry and are very excited about our continuing expansion to Florida. SKR prides itself on excellent care and service.
SKR is different from many agencies as we cater to each client individually. We are always available to fine tune and be flexible to any and all needs. SKR is a boutique agency, NOT a big agency with many layers. When you call, you get the owner, Susan. We are available 24/7 and answer the phone early and late. We are very hands-on and work to meet each one of our patients/clients in-person; we know each of our nurses personally as well. Our nurses provide direction, advocacy, medicine management and a higher level of care.
SKR caters to all ages – infants through elder care. We provide short term and long-term care. Our nurses are certified, bonded and insured and they are all handpicked. Each nurse is thoroughly interviewed with all references checked, all criminal and child abuse clearance, TB screenings, and updated physical and current licenses. Our nurses are loyal, professional, hardworking and honest people.
Nurses are also able to provide the following services… errands, meal preparation, food shopping, companionship, ambulation, personal care, light housekeeping, laundry, just to name a few. We have created a niche for ourselves, including taking those to and from mandatory and elective surgeries with a 24/7 nurse to be by their side as long as they may need.
